OMSLinks founder Dr. Scott L. Bolding, an oral maxillofacial surgeon, had a vision of developing a virtual patient record system. The vision was to establish a virtual health record that would follow a patient throughout their life. In today's environment, our patient records are scattered from city to city, country to country, with no continuity of record keeping for our patients.

Dr. Bolding realized that patient records should be owned by the patient and should follow them to each physician, dentist, or healthcare provider, so that the continuity of care is always maintained. Dr. Bolding teamed up with the co-founders of TeamLinks, Dr. Richard Roblee and Dr. Sam Papandreas to develop a web-based medical and dental record management system that will provide a unique patient collaboration and record system for the future of health care.
